  2. Here a piece I wrote this week. It has 6 parts for strings. I did cello divisi, but not sure if that's the best option. I could split violin II, but I'm afraid the lows would be too prominent. Violas are the weakest of the strings instruments. If I divide violas, would be even weaker, so I decide to split Celli. Do you think that's the best option for a good balance? I have been exploring here a harmony rich in suspensions and apoyaturas.
  3. Why not revise it?
  4. Thanks Hendrik! Yes, that's indeed a small form piece Monothematic without any modulations. I could try with something larger with similar harmony. you are right, that's not may main style. I'm used to write more classic or barroc stuff, that's a bit more romantic I would say.
  5. I like the harmony a lot, powerful. Unfortunately I am not listening with headphones, so I cannot pick up the melody very well.
  6. Thanks for the feedback! Because I use Musescore I can't create a suite that easily cause of the formatting but I guess its possible.
  7. Ah, that makes sense. Thank you for taking the time to explain! I hope you're able to seek publication with this.
  8. I really like this! There's a great energy to it. I think one thing that I didn't like is the constant stopping, it sort of diffuses the energy that you build up with the 16th notes.

  10. Interesting composition, it gets lezz waltz-y at times which is nice and varied.
  11. 0:35-0:42 That passage sounds too weird to me. But overall cool piece.
  12. Oops, sorry. Assumptions, assumptions, assumptions. And yes, slow movements are the worst. Wish I could offer some advice to make it easier, but, alas, I have none. Best wishes, though!
  13. Love it! You used bubble dass :). The piano and double bass work well together in this piece.
