Alan
OOH! It must be a loading error- Those are the names of the smileys that normally appear there... I don't know how to fix it though... Maybe its because the server is crammed... riiight... :glare:
Marius
Yeah, but when you just look at it, it sort of looks like it's being creepy.
robinjessome
Perhaps Marius has a HACKER!!
James H.
And you're the only one getting this. And on Firefox, which is what I have too.... Hmm.... Odd. Is your ":stoicjedi:" always on the first line, or only since this weird error? Mine's always on the bottom, below the others, along with a few others. Marius
Nah, the sabre's always been in the same row. Anyway, it appears to be behaving for now...so either my stalker got bored, or the infrastructure thinks I'm dead.
James H.
It's gone? That makes me sad. I love how in ten minutes there are already 14 posts in this thread... I think that's a record, it's just like the freakin' media crawling all over an alien space landing ship that the government is trying to cover up...
Alan
Lol couldn't have said it better, Enigmus! This is the (hopefully) fifteenth post! That wasn't funny, Corbin...
Morivou
But wait, it gets better... Still got 355 pms... lol. I thought we said to clear that box out! ;) Also, THAT is creepy.
Marius
Nothing attracts peoples' attention like a system error! :P (I mean the Shoutbox issue, by the way, not me)
Alan
Nothing attracts peoples' attention like a system error! :P(I mean the Shoutbox issue, by the way, not me) Uh-huh... :glare: this is what happened when I typed your name... bob stole my cookie
Did you clear your browser's cache? That's most likely the problem, since it isn't happening to anyone else.
Marius
...Yes, thank you. I think the humour of the situation just got cleared too. *Sigh*
bob stole my cookie
If you knew how to fix it, why post it here?
Marius
Um, besides the whole "humour" thing that's becoming a distant memory, it still counts as a technical problem in my books. Last I checked, giant squares being substituted for emoticons was not part of vBulletin's feature list.
bob stole my cookie
Yes, but that's your problem not the forum's and has been reported here by various people (probably half the time by me). The "giant square" was just your browser mixing up two images. As for humor... Okay, sorry. *gets off soap box and goes back to doing whatever it is nerds do at night*
Mike
This problem seems to recur with Firefox, and can be resolved by clearing its cache. Come to think of it, everyone join the cache clearing party: those Christmas icons will probably be with you until about February if you don't. ;)
