November 21, 200916 yr Sorry, I can't say I'm too fond of it like that. Especially because of the excessive musical imagery. Treble clef, violin, piano, staff line, concert hall chairs, repeat sign… Using all those stereotypical symbols to make it clear to the last idiot that "THIS SITE IS ABOUT MUSIC!" gives a somewhat unprofessional impression, in my opinion.
November 22, 200916 yr I like it, it looks clean, nice, states what this site is all about. I dont like the violin in it or the amount of treble clefs in it, but everything else looks great.

November 24, 200916 yr I hope the IPB default remains an option for those of us who don't like to be reminded that this site has to do with music convulsively. I second what Gardener said, it looks rather amateurish honestly.
November 24, 200916 yr Author I'm not fully understanding this aversion to the skin having musical elements. After all, this IS a musical site, and this design will communicate to our audience that they are either in the right place, or the wrong place at first glance. With that in mind, I have asked for the full top headers in the event we decide to change our logo. Needless to say, the original IPB skin will remain an option.
November 25, 200916 yr The folder buttons don't seem to really match the theme... *scratches head* Something about the banner irks me and I don't know what. It seems too crowded or too stuffy or too out of style in terms of design or something. Too many focal elements.
