"Somewhere in Prettyland" for Piccolo, Clarinet, Glockenspiel, and Vibes

Featured Replies

I wanted to make a prettier piece of music than what I usually mess around with and this is what came out. I'm hoping this sounds like C minor, I'm just getting into how to make music sound minor or major or whatever.

I think it sounds nice.

May I ask... what do you mean by "C minor sound"?

I mean, everything you write in C minor sounds in C minor.... I think?

I mean making it sound like C minor instead of E flat major with the difference despite containing the same notes.

It'w nice. I like it.

The Glockenspiel and the Vibraphone have similar color, perhaps I would prefer other contrast, but it's fine.

One of the differences, the main one, in minor/major is the dominant-tonic progression.

In C minor you have to show G7 - Cm.

In Eb major you need Bb7 - Eb.
