Thoughts on Waltz No.2

It's very expressive, and your harmonies are great. At times it seems to lose its momentum, and you might want more of a contrasting section. Overall though, it's a great piece! Keep it up!

Interesting how you leave the waltz texture completely behind you in the middle section and create a more "contrapuntal" feeling (m. 53-120). You could spice up the piece by introducing dynamics; some melodic arcs really demand a more soft treatment. This could also provide the constrast @aMusicComposer mentioned without changing too much.

@YoungcNice work, imagine the final work how great will sound! Nice melodies & very possitive music !

I like the mixture of classic waltz and contrapuntal baroque... very nice! The makes the piece so modern.

@aMusicComposer Can you tell me the specific spots? Thanks for the help!

@Youngc

It is mostly just before you reach a transition from one section to another.
