My Wife Calls This "?" (Aka more learning in Ableton)

Featured Replies

A three-day project (started with my post "testing ableton"), intended to exercise some of the things I've learned in Ableton live 9 lite. Thoughts/etc. are always appreciated!

Thanks,

Gustav Johnson

Great!!!

I heard it before. No doubt.

Did you post an unfinished version?

Or just the idea or anything like that?

Anyway,

these are great sounds you put there.

I wasn't always completely satisfied with the way things sound,

but I can't tell you how to compose.

Overall, I enjoyed listening to your piece?

btw, I listened to this piece of yours and I think that it's really cute and could be a good game soundtrack:

Some parts sound "saturated" (perhaps with my speakers) between 1:10 and 1:50.

As a test of sounds it's good.

@Rabbival507 Yeah the "testing" piece I posted earlier was the first day of work on this project. I kept adding to it and decided to make it a slightly more finished project. Thanks for the listen, and I was sorely tempted to make a longer piece out of the "Farming" track - we'll see!

@Luis Hernández Definitely agree - I'll keep working on that. It'd be nice if there was a plug-in to find and fix spots like that, sort of like a spell checker but for sound. Hmmmmm!

Thanks for the listens and comments, everyone!
