Will there ever be a 2nd issue of the YC magazine?

I remember when #1 came out in 2017. I was wondering, would we be able to get the people to make a second. I understand that originally it was @Maarten Bauer who came up with the idea, but as he is not active I wondered if someone else would like to step forward to do this.

I'm just thinking that it could be a great project, what with so many of us in lockdown and with plenty of time on our hands...

I haven't been here when the magazine came out. Would you mind telling me what it was all about?

I had been thinking we could set up some sort of small "label", or something that would give our pieces of music a life of their own besides here in the forum. Perhaps we could get some institutions (universities, etc.) to back this up and se if we can create a small net of composers, one that spams beyond the forum, and that can create a few oportunities career-wise.

What I remember of it is that there were various articles written by some of the members about composition and what they specialise in. There were one about contemporary forms, one about saxophones and I believe there was also information about YC. There was a competition held to design a new logo for YC too.

That sounds like a really interesting idea.

Hi, sorry for my late response. I am not really active anymore on this forum since I started study at the conservatoire.
Although this crisis suggests more free time, I experience the opposite, so for me currently there is no plan to continue with the magazine.

It should come out of the community and this first magazine was really animated by the community. I do not know how much animo there is now.
