Prelude and Fugue in G major

Featured Replies

There is my 3-part fugue in G major. What do you think?

EDIT: I finally composed a short prelude

Edited by Pietro17

This is a great fugue! I couldn't see the score, but it sounds like followed all the rules for fugal writing, and you did a really nice job doing so! Great music!

Thank you for listening @Theodore Servin! There must be something wrong, because I can't see other scores as well

Make sure when you write your prelude that you add it to THIS thread, retitled "Prelude and Fugue in G major", then added to this thread:
Please also combine the prelude and fugue score into one piece/pdf.

Great fugue!  This is very nice, would be nice to hear a couple of sequences of fifth though, besides that great job! 😄

Very nice!

Thank you all for listening to the fugue! I finally wrote a short prelude so my submission is now complete.

@Simen-N Thank you! I tried to avoid sequences of fifths because I tend to overuse them, there are some in prelude though

I love the whole thing. Great job, @Pietro17!
