Thanks for the reminder, I have it in mind, just staying on hold in case I get a better inspiration.

While cleaning up my various notes and sketches from my computer, I came across this piece I did a while back. I've long been a fan of "Appalachian Spring", and in particular, the original version for chamber. I decided to attempt to use this type of ensemble but added horns oboe to have a full wind quintet. The second horn was for added color. It was more an exercise in smaller mixed group writing for me. Comments appreciated. Thanks Tim

Great to hear! When you have some ideas you can already submit them, because you can submit as many designs as you want. Then I will choose a maximum of three designs to include in the magazine article.

You can create any design you want! It does not have to fit the website theme. I am glad you are enthousiastic!

I have finished my logo/favicon. However, if I send it now and then come up with a better one before the deadline, can I change it or submit multiple entries?

1. @Chopin I think you can include YC as initials. 2. Logo and favicon can be the same, but remember that the favicon is much smaller so details will be hard to see.

Hi Maarten, Two questions: 1. Can we just include the initials YC? Or should we spell out the full name "Young Composers"? 2. Do we have to create a separate logo and favicon, or will the same design work for both? Or maybe make the second answer "Maybe"!
