In case you live in the North (near Oporto) that should be 92.50 I think it's 94.40 for the Center, but not sure. About the Madness for Six Hands being played, I unfortunately don't have it in my CD :-P and those classical music radio snobs would probably prefer a piece like the Variations. Mike Posted April 6, 2006 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Anything beginning with mms:// denotes use of the Microsoft Windows Media Player streaming protocol, and as such you will need Windows Media Player to listen. If, as has just happened to me, you have clicked the link but nothing has happened, open up Windows Media Player on your computer, then try: File -> Open URL. Then paste "mms://rdp.oninet.pt/antena3" into the box and click OK. There is also a RealPlayer alternative available on the site which Mac users will probably have to use over WMP. It's presumably made to work using roughly the same method as described above except with RealPlayer. I don't know what Linux users are going to do though. Use a Windows computer for a bit, I guess. I shall be on the last hour of the show, with my own playing and YC music being broadcast. If americans are unable to heqar because it is too soon for them, I may get my hands on a soundfile which I will try to post. I'm of the opinion that almost noone elses music on here is 'new' as well - i.e. in the same category you place the classical "imitators". It's only naturally to pick music that appeals to them. I also don't believe much music here is really new. The only difference is one form is more modern than the other. Unfortunately, only the beginning of the Noctutrnee and the ending of the Variations were aired :thumbsup: but Youngcomposers was publicized across the nation, and Chopin, Marius, Agnor and Berlioz (because they're portuguese ;)) got to be spoken of. anyone with a recording, please post!
