  1. Hi forum! I'm back, or am I? Had I ever left? This post made by @Zimr Music reminded me of an old piece that I made for a story inside a Minecraft server that I will likely never finish because of the enormous amount of workforce needed, studying, planning, blah, blah, blah. The title says enough about it, I'd say, and I don't want my words to distract you. ♫ Here's the piece ♫ Ancient Pyusisk's mineshaft__noplayer__.mp3 And here's the pdf in case someone wants to check it out: 29 - Ancient Pyusisk's mineshaft.pdf This ambient piece was composed at the end of 2019 if I recall correctly, and that'd be all the info. As always, hope you find it decent! Kind regards, Daniel–Ømicrón. .Div1 { border: 5px outset hsl(52,100%,50%,0.85); border-radius: 1px; margin: 0; background-color: hsl(52,10%,10%,1); color: black; text-align: center; font-family: "CalligraphyFLF",Edwin,Helvetica; width:auto; height:auto; max-width: 600px; max-height: 200px; } .Div2 { display: block; border: 10px outset hsl(52,100%,50%,0.8); border-radius: 1px; margin: 5px; color: white; width:inherit; vertical-align:top; background-color: white; background-image: url(https://i.imgur.com/dbMMjfs.jpg); background-size:60%; background-position: 0% 70%; text-align: left; font-family: "CalligraphyFLF",Edwin,Helvetica; font-size: 140%; height: 115px; } .Div3{ display:inline-block; border: 5px outset hsl(52,100%,35%,0.96); text-align:left; margin: 5px; width:auto; vertical-align:top; background-color: black; } .Div4{ display:inline-block; text-align:center; width:inherit; font-family: "CalligraphyFLF",Edwin,Helvetica; font-size: 100%; } .Img1{ max-height: 90px; max-width: 137px; font-color: white } a.one:link{ text-decoration:none; color: #fff6c6; } a.one:visited{ color: #daff8e; } a.one:hover{ color: #edffc6; } a.one:active{ color: #fff6c6; } audio::-webkit-media-controls{ background-color: hsl(35,100%,8%,0.9); border-radius: 20px; } audio{ height:42px; width: 400px; border: 3px outset hsl(52,100%,35%,0.96); border-radius: 64px; background: #2B2309; } audio::-webkit-media-controls-mute-button { background-color: hsl(47,100%,78%,0.83); border-radius: 20px; margin:0 } audio::-webkit-media-controls-current-time-display { color: hsl(47,100%,78%,1); font-family: "Brock Script", Helvetica; } audio::-webkit-media-controls-time-remaining-display { color: hsl(47,100%,78%,1); font-family: "Brock Script", Helvetica; } audio::-webkit-media-controls-timeline { background-color: hsl(48,100%,78%,0.1); border-radius:25px; margin-left:12px; margin-right:12px; } audio::-webkit-media-controls-volume-slider { background-color: hsl(48,100%,78%,0.1); border-radius:25px; padding-left:6px; padding-right:6px; } audio::-webkit-media-controls-panel { background-color: #2B2309; } audio::-webkit-media-controls-play-button { background-color: hsl(47,100%,78%,0.36); border-radius: 20px; } audio:hover {transform: scale(1.01);filter: drop-shadow(1px 1px 1px #E0FFA1);} p.p1{ font-family:"Edwin",Bitter,'Arial Black'; font-size: 19px; color: #daff8e; margin:0; }

  4. My music portfolio: https://soundcloud.com/hiwes/sets/my-best-music-and-my-portfolio Twitter: HIWES433 Email: Niko433aclo@gmail.com I will make you a Theme song for your Video Game or anything else that you need music for. Be specific about what kind of style the music needs to be: Rock, Synth, Chill, happy, sad, or whatever you want it to be. The right music can make an emotional moment that much more emotional, a tense moment that much more tense.
  5. I made this fun video about 5 levels of ambient guitar. We experience a lock down here and I can't do anything except playing music or doing part-time job I have from home. So, this is the video (and there's an announcement at the beginning of the video 😜)
  6. This is how I show the world "face of depression" and how I feel inside. Hope you enjoy it. https://soundcloud.com/muhammadreza75/dawn-of-blue-hearts
  7. Hi guys! I was just wondering if you had any ideas what bird this piece of music would symbolize. I'm trying to make a musical suite of birds.
  8. Hello YC, I posted this music before but without the video it is meant to interpret. I am happy to be able to provide the whole experience now. This animated feature by the Brothers Quay is something I always wanted to score. The original score is by Leszek Jankowski, which I replaced and added FX's and foley sound to. I hope that you like it. https://www.facebook.com/100000289764062/videos/2268723976480572/
  9. I heard Michael Manring's "Adhan", which is based on Muslim's call for prayer, and I loved it! (Manring's Adhan (link), Original Adhan (link)). So, I picked my guitar and started playing. I played some notes as background loops then started improvising in Maqam Hijaz / Phrygian Dominant mode (they're basically the same thing!) and I loved the result! I call the piece "Khorasan" because there's one of most important religious areas in Iran (because The holy Shrine of Imam Reza is placed there). DAW : FL Studio 20 Instrument : Ibanez iJRG200u FX : Efektor CH3604, Blackhole Reverb, Valhalla UberMod, Valhalla Shimmer, ReaEQ, Fruity Parametric EQ2, Fruity Compressor
  10. After a long time, I composed a piece and I share it with you. P.S : Good news, I will release a short post-rock album as soon as possible! DAW : FL Studio VST Instruments : reFX Nexus (Piano, Cello, Strings) , EZDrummer (Electronic Expansion, 808 Kit) VST FX : DC8C (Compressor), Fruity Compressor, Fruity Parametric EQ2, Fruity Limiter
  11. Dark wave, is one of my favorite genres in "modern" music. But, it was a long time I haven't listened to that type of music. In previous days, I was looking for music which can help me focus when I'm studying for exams, and I checked my spotify for "Sopor AEternus & The Ensemble of Shadows". I listened to their album "Dead Lovers Sarabande Vol. 2" and then, I decided to make a track similar to those tracks after my exams. In last 2 days I had 3 exams and it made me tired, but I could make this track, inspired by Sopor AEternus!
  12. I wanted to put my Lute to the test with ambient FX, and the result is :
  13. Greetings guys! I'm again in the world of Electronic/Ambient music. I found new tools and techniques to make this type of music and I enjoy it! I hope you enjoy 🙂
  14. I'm sure most of you guys know about my post-rock band "Mangrove Lake Swans". The Last single I was published, called "Far away in the dark". This is my bandcamp link : https://mangrovelakeswans.bandcamp.com/track/moonlight And song details : DAW : FL Studio Instrument : Ibanez iJRG200u VST Instruments : Addictive Keys (Grand piano preset) , FPC Drums VST FX : Fruity Reeverb 2, Blackhole Reverb, Guitar Gadgets (Niagra Falls preset), Fruity Delay, Fruity Parametric EQ2 I also posted piano part notes!

    1984

Just wrote this song to test my new samples, but at the end, it really sounded good to me. Then, I decided to master the track and share it.
  18. I'm a guitar effect nerd and I like to use different guitar effects to get different tones. This is actually why I produce metal, rock. ambient or even pop music. Because with different guitar effects, I can make different music. But, most of my effects are delays, reverbs and ambient stuff. Today I decided to make a simple guitar loop and improvise something over the loop, so I recorded a "A add9 power chord" and looped it. Then, I started recording my improvisation in A minor. Song details : DAW : FL Studio FX : Valhalla Shimmer, Valhalla Space Modulator(For synth which helps guitar drone), Fruity Delay, Fruity Compressor, Amplitube 4 ('65 Fender Reverb), Guitar Gadgets, Fruity Parametric EQ2, Mobius Looper. Instrument : Ibanez iJRG200u (electrical guitar) VST instruments : DX7 (Computer simulated Yamaha synth).
  19. I'm really a fan of this type of music, specially when it's combined with Rock/Metal style of drums. I wrote this last night, when it was snowing here in Tehran. So, I picked my guitar, wrote some chords and start playing it. After that I started mixing and mastering all I wrote. In last week, I saw a video on guitar drones, and that guy explained "adding static drones make your songs sound better" and I decided to do this, and I started bowing my E string (actually I love the sound of Bowed guitars) and added some drones with Contrabass sound samples. DAW : FL Studio VST Plugins :Guitar Rig (Amp, Reverb, Overdrive) , Guitar Gadgets (Reverb) , Fruity Parametric EQ2 VST Instruments : FPC Drums (HQ Rock), Native Instruments Symphony Essentials (Bass) Instrument : Ibanez iJRG200u
  20. This is the track I made today. It's just a quick composition, not that good, but I hope you enjoy!

    Journey

I conceived this as a beautiful journey. I think it's a wonderful experience to close your eyes and let it wash over you. I noticed that when I listened to it a second and third time, the journey was slightly different each time. I'd be very interested in other people's experience of this piece.
  22. Hey! I'm sure you guys know that I'm a fan of ambient music. Also, I like to experiment it on all instrument I really can play or write for. Today, I just had a challenge : Writing ambient music using only piano. So, I wrote this 15 seconds and applied lots of effects on that. The melody is in C major key and also, there's no score (because I did everything in FL studio).

    Dawn

Greetings! This is my first official work with bowed guitars as background. I think that bowed acoustic guitar in the background, helped to make a nice ambiance. So, I upload the track here, please let me know your opinions about it.
  24. One of my favorite bands, is Sigur Ros. And this is why I learned to play guitar using a bow ... I know violin bow is not that good for being used on guitar, but it was the cheapest and easiest choice I had. So, today I felt so Scandinavian (LOL), and decided to make something like Sigur Ros (you know, when someone feels Scandinavian, he/she may make some trve kvlt music \m/ ), then I picked my bow and tuned my guitar to DADGAD, and this is the result :
