  1. Hello Everyone, This is a hybrid orchestral space music with symphonic and electronic instruments. I'm curious about your opinion. (If you see a "do not click here" text, don't worry, I'm just testing the click-through rate with this thumbnail. If you don't see it, I replaced it with the original.)

  3. Happy New Year... I've been delving into some of the harmonic mechanisms of the Romantics, and out of that came this short piece. Greetings.

  4. Hi everyone Here is, without any particular context, a waltz that I composed just before Christmas (as I wanted to compose a special piece with a Christmas feel in it). I already posted a waltz long time ago (lol) in 2020 I wanted to reiterate the exercise and compose another waltz in the same style. This is obviously Thaikosvky-ish, and I'm quite proud of the finished product. One of the challenge in composing it was to try to add harmonic novelties, as waltz harmonic progression tend to be quite scripted in advance. I also tried to reproduct that particular "magical" feeling that can be heard in Tchaikovsky's ballet and waltz. Feel free to criticise and say what you think of it. Camille

  5. Here is the 2nd movement of a trio sonata for Organ that I am currently working on! It is more or less complete, there are some things I may change about it. Any feedback is welcomed!

  6. Hi @olivercomposer, For me the music is quite “in the stars” but not alone, even though you use the piano as the solo person, since the stars around her is too gigantic! 2:21 again begins the metamorphosis stage frequently seen in your pieces but the theme is well recognised! The electronic sound there is fitting to the mood and with the trumpet for me. I think at the ending section (03:51) you wanna break the rules of having the climax at the end by having the piano back. I think it’s a good attempt and maybe it can be more lonely wthouth any accompaniment! Thx for sharing! Henry

  7. Hey Camille, thx for your detailed review! Yeah when I am angry I am a Beethovanian!!! When I composed this I was in my depression time so I had to write like this angry and brainless!!!! Thank you! I know I have made many mistakes but it looks like it's not too bad!! I like this theme too! Although I love the C# minor version of it (5:24) much more!!!!!!!!!!!!!😜😜 Thx! Idk why I write this quasi-fugal like passage here and I wanna add some triplets here so I use three voices here! I love it too! I love it even more because it's a variation of the opening theme but the effect and mood is very different from it! The coda theme is actually the tonic version of this (6:18) and I love it too!! I don't even know this composer, my bad! I am just thinking of varying the opening theme here, but thanks for pointing out the simliarity! Thx! It's hard to play right?? Yay! Yeah maybe I just want something simple here and make the music more cruel so I write with 3 closing chords on tonic haha! Thx so much! Hopefully I can practice and polish the 2nd movement soon!!! Henry

  8. Yo Vince, The guitar playing is really playful here! You sing awfully well here, for example the high E in "Maybe it was taken far outside again" is great! I think you can sing with different tones according to different mood and content of the song, for example this one is less edgy then the one in "Shopper stole Christmas"! Thx for sharing, I definitely feel the joy here! Henry

  9. Hey Aaron, The opening of the G minor one is very pop music for me with the descending fifths Romaneszca! There's a parallel fifth between b.2 and 3 though. I love the texture in b.9 which reminds me of JC Bach! Is that intentional you want a bare fifth for the ending without a third? For the G major one I love your octave opening! You are getting more familiar with the language! I also love b.5-6 when the left hand also has dotted rhythm to push the music forward. It's only in b.10 and 12 I may write a dotted rhythm for the left hand to fill up the rest! You really improve in every of your pieces. Maybe you will become the next Mozart! Henry

  10. Hi! This is my second published work after a short one which I have recently took down and am planning to repost as WoO 2 (WoO 1 being my yet-to be published Winter Fantasy). I have received some comments already by other people but I wish to seek what you guys think about this short piece. This etude is about playing parallel passages on the right and left hand. I hope y'all can give some feedback! Thanks in advance! Étude No. 1.mid

  11. I think they're all fun in their own way. Check them out! (Of course some of my family complained - "What is this?! This isn't Christmas music! Turn that off!" LoL

  12. Thanks Peter, appreciate the feedback. Oddly, the only intended quote was with the march, representing my grandparents: I quoted Bridge Over River Kwai! 😄 That is a fun tradition, I shall have to check them out. Did you have a favourite entry?

  14. What a great story told through music about your best furry friend this holiday season! For a second I thought the story was being told from the perspective of the dog, searching for his favorite toy but then in the last stanza you say "his ears perk up". LoL This is a great feel-good holiday guitar special from you - just as Santa ordered! And this time you used electric guitar with some distortion or overdrive or something? (Can't tell which). Thanks for posting the lyrics - they make it much easier to follow along and to comprehend the song. I like how you start each stanza on the vi chord before bringing things back to the tonic. Is that your dog in the picture? What's his name? My favorite part of the song has to be the part about the "gunk, grime, slime, saliva"! LoL I'm glad your furry friend was able to find "peace, comfort and joy" with his toy this holiday season! Now all that's left is for me to wish you and your friend a Happy New Year! Thanks for sharing!

  15. CUTE! This is unironically really well written too, just like last year's. You have such a knack for writing unexpected Christmas songs! For the recording - I thought the vocals were a bit quiet in the first verse compared to the guitar. It's better later on in the song. 😍 Thanks for entering this year's event!
