  1. I wrote this song precisely last year and arranged it for an orchestra for this website and now here it is in a mellower format, that of a jazz piano arrangement with a brush drum kit. I think it sounds nice overall. I had this song reviewed professionally by a multi award winning songwriter who gave me a B+ for the musical grade so enjoy! As always advice will be appreciated!
  2. Hey everyone. It's been a while since I last uploaded a composition here (a collection of miniature pieces for flute & piano), but I've had some time and started a new collection of jazz miniatures. This new project is my attempt at trying something new and writing something that isn't clearly influenced by romantic era music. I don't write much jazz, so please let me know what you think of this first piece. Thanks! Jazz Short 1.mp3 Jazz Short 1 - Full Score.pdf
  3. A re-upload of a short piano piece I wrote several months ago. I'm thinking of trying to write more pieces in something like this style. Any comments would be appreciated.
  4. Here is another chamber sonata in three movements, this time for flute and piano. Let me know what you think!
  5. UNFINISHED VERSION! I am trying to compose one of my favourite poems for soprano or tenor voice (octave below), but I'm littlebit confused, right now. I have never composed for solistic voice and accompainment before, only pure choral and some orchestral pieces I have worked. I'm asking for advice, if my work fits in some style of solistic pieces, because just like I said, I have no experience with solo, nor browsed any sheet of the "old masters" to have a look at how it works basically. So the poem is about spring, and the first verses could make out a sleeping song too. This work is unfinished, I have 3 more verses, in which I'd like to use more themes, more joy and sadness, etc. My question would be if it works well so far. The lyrics are in Hungarian, so I try to make a freestyle translation. Here you go: When Spring divides its kissis, and within the greening forests, sunshine is present, Waking up on the wet lawn, Tiny, small, white stars of Earth. To the velvet of the fields covered with dew, Whitening and falling down thousands of starflowers, And above, the wind blows softly, So the trees are waving at the edge of the forest. (...)
  6. This is one of those songs that just spilled out of me. It was just "right there." I started this by visualizing a scene and then writing what I was seeing and feeling. The chords are meant to mirror the emotions. I really wanted to get some rich, warm colors to go with the emotions in the lyrics. I wrote the words and music. It's performed by two other artists. Hope you enjoy it, I'd love to get your constructive feedback.
  7. In this case, I wanted to use the litlle form of sonatina to non traditional harmonies. The result was a sonatina in canonic style.
  8. This was the first nocturne I wrote, some tiem ago. It's in Emin, tonal but with some unusual progressions. In some parts I used an artificial scale (nor major, nor minor).
  9. Another edition in the daily sketch project I've been doing, this one aimed to try to tell common and simple stories through musical means (the one before was "Little Red Riding Hood"). The ending has the tone I want, but I don't really know about how it was executed. Let me know what you all think;
  10. Hey , firstly stoked to be part of this community , so i recently composed this piece for an inspirational video. if you got a minute , do check it out here and lemme know what you think about it ! Cheers :D
  11. A re-upload of one of my most recently completed works, a short lied with a viola substituting for a singer. Let me know what you think.
  12. Hey guys! Here is just a short little arioso for cello and piano that I composed a few months ago. Let me know what you think as always.
  13. Hey guys! So, I'm a little mentally exhausted -- I'm just after writing nine pieces in the past three days (which will all be uploaded soon.) This is my first true chamber sonata for oboe and piano, and I hope you guys enjoy. I really enjoy writing in this form, so let me know what you think and thanks for the help.

  15. Hi. My suite "The Four Elements" will soon be published, but i still have some time to give it another look and try to make some improvements. I would be really happy to have the input of other composers and music lovers. If you have the time, please take a listen and let me know what you think. Today i will be working on the third movement: "Air" Thank you! =)
  16. Hey guys! Some of you might be familiar with these pieces, as I composed them a while back and post three of the four previously; however, I did make some changes. I took some of the advice mentioned in the comments of the pieces -- such as adjusting the ranges, as well as changing a melisma or two -- and I feel that they are better for it. I kept the flute-piano combo for disdain of the midi choir. Let me know your thoughts on the pieces, as I'm still open to improving them if need be. P.S. I'm not sure if there is a way to delete your past uploads, e.g. the three airs I posted previously, but if there is, please let me know below.
  17. Here it is the first, bouncy, movement of a Sonatina in C Major that I wrote a couple of years ago. Nothing too hard but with a couple of nasty spots to play.
  18. Hey guys! Here are three simple piano bagatelles I composed on three animals (as it was inspired to be played to my six-year-old piano student). I tried my best at recording it, even though I dislike doing so, as I want things to be perfect (this is the reason I don't upload my piano pieces quite often), but I hope you enjoy the pieces. Thanks!
  19. This is my entry for the Shakespeare contest. It's an elegiac song upon the famous Macbeth's soliloquy. Hope you enjoy^^
  20. A piano solo prelude.
  21. For a while now, I've been challenging myself to write a short piece every single day, with a very low time limit. This happens to be the 23rd, for solo piano, a Scherzo study in major 7ths and diminished fifths. It's not really my best work, but I was wondering what you'd all think.
  22. This is the piece I opened my daily sketches project with a long time ago, and it shows; it's not very good. I think I was trying to mess around with chord progressions using strange inversions, but I don't think it came out as I'd wanted it to. Hopefully you all can still get some sort of kick out of it :P
  23. Heyoh fellow musicians! What does this remind you of? I'm searching for a name... Also, how much does it bother you that it has the same chord proggression nearly all the way through? Thank you for feedback! EDIT: Thank you all for your responses! :) I chose a name and ended up writing a poem when searching for a fitting image. If anyone's still listening, I'd love to know how you think the name, image, poem and music work together! ^^ The Image is this: https://pixabay.com/en/piano-rose-yellow-1239729/ Past is what haunts us the most, meanwhile The nest we escape from its ghost Seeking what chains us with comfort Dreaming of all that we long for ________________________ Let us meet on Youtube too: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiDsdsnIOb3_GYfTnMEzP3A
  24. A piano piece that tells the story of me as a boy having a bad day, and during the evening I went outside to contemplate. When I looked at the stars above me, they seemed to coax and calm me like a mother would to her child. It fills me with peace. That's the inspiration behind the piece. Time to hear what the listeners have to say about this!
  25. My sonatina for flute and piano, In general this piece mix brazilian rhythm like baiĆ£o, choro and maracatu with some modern techniques of composition.
