This was the first nocturne I wrote, some tiem ago. It's in Emin, tonal but with some unusual progressions. In some parts I used an artificial scale (nor major, nor minor).

Another edition in the daily sketch project I've been doing, this one aimed to try to tell common and simple stories through musical means (the one before was "Little Red Riding Hood"). The ending has the tone I want, but I don't really know about how it was executed. Let me know what you all think;

In this case, I wanted to use the litlle form of sonatina to non traditional harmonies. The result was a sonatina in canonic style.

Hey guys! So, I'm a little mentally exhausted -- I'm just after writing nine pieces in the past three days (which will all be uploaded soon.) Hey everyone. It's been a while since I last uploaded a composition here (a collection of miniature pieces for flute & piano), but I've had some time and started a new collection of jazz miniatures. This new project is my attempt at trying something new and writing something that isn't clearly influenced by romantic era music. Hey guys! Some of you might be familiar with these pieces, as I composed them a while back and post three of the four previously; however, I did make some changes. I took some of the advice mentioned in the comments of the pieces -- such as adjusting the ranges, as well as changing a melisma or two -- and I feel that they are better for it. I kept the flute-piano combo for disdain of the midi choir. Let me know your thoughts on the pieces, as I'm still open to improving them if need be. P.S. I'm not sure if there is a way to delete your past uploads, e.g. the three airs I posted previously, but if there is, please let me know below.

Hey guys! Here are three simple piano bagatelles I composed on three animals (as it was inspired to be played to my six-year-old piano student). I tried my best at recording it, even though I dislike doing so, as I want things to be perfect (this is the reason I don't upload my piano pieces quite often), but I hope you enjoy the pieces. This is the piece I opened my daily sketches project with a long time ago, and it shows; it's not very good. I think I was trying to mess around with chord progressions using strange inversions, but I don't think it came out as I'd wanted it to. Hopefully you all can still get some sort of kick out of it :P

For a while now, I've been challenging myself to write a short piece every single day, with a very low time limit. This happens to be the 23rd, for solo piano, a Scherzo study in major 7ths and diminished fifths. It's not really my best work, but I was wondering what you'd all think.

A piano piece that tells the story of me as a boy having a bad day, and during the evening I went outside to contemplate. When I looked at the stars above me, they seemed to coax and calm me like a mother would to her child. It fills me with peace. That's the inspiration behind the piece. I've posted these before but I though I'd share it again as I made some minor edits since it was last posted on some of them. This is a set of six pieces dedicated to my daughter that I wrote around the time she was born four years ago. The keys of the pieces (loosely) spell out her name. They have a pretty large range in terms of difficulty since I initially set out to write short simple pieces suitable for an intermediate level piano student but over time, they evolved to become more thematic in nature loosely depicting a childhood scene. Here's brief description of each one: No. 1 in C major - A simple sonatina movement, perhaps depicting a child's first steps on their own. No. 2 in A major - A waltz-like piece, perhaps hinting at a young child dancing with her doll (my daughter loves to dance). No. 3 in B-flat major - A fast scherzo somewhat capturing the happy chaos of young children playing together. No. 4 in B minor - A hybrid rondo-variation form. The A theme is supposed to depict the child in various moods over the course of the day as he spends the day with his mother, starting off a little grumpy when he wakes up and ending quietly as he is put to bed. No. 5 in E minor - A set of simple variations on "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" which used to be my daughter's favorite song as a toddler. Not surprisingly this is her favorite one. No. 6 in G major - A march celebrating the transition from childhood to young adulthood.

Greetings Earthlings, Not having enough spare time and having to work for a living, regrettably I now have a collection of broken computers, a large stash of hard drives containing audio, notes, utility programs, samples; a lot. All my installation media too... I haven't suffered data loss thankfully, but the quantity is almost unmanageable. I'm hoping to have things organised at some time. I'm sorry not to have enough resources currently. I can still do some solo piano and suchlike and I will try to do some before long, but I have at least dug out a 45-second snip of a piece I was writing. This is the introduction. I did have around 1:35 of it done, but I can't find that. After the 45 seconds, there was, let's say, a sudden dramatic shift of tonality, and of mode (i.e. different scalar intervals). I look forward to continuing.
